Donna’s Wow Wow Cacao Recipe
Use Ceremonial Grade Cacao | One Serving
In a pot on the stove with low heat:
• Add approx 1 TBSP cacao per 4 oz spring water ⁜ 8 oz = 2 TBSP
• You could also use 1/2 water and 1/2 coconut or almond milk.
* Measurements below are approximations.
While slowly heating the cacao, add approximately:
• 1 TBSP organic coconut sugar or natural sweetener of choice
• 1/8 tsp organic cinnamon
• 1/8 tsp organic ginger powder
• 1-2 pinches Himalayan Sea Salt
• 1-2 pinches organic cayenne pepper
* Adjust amounts to your own preference.
Heat Cacao slowly & stir often ensuring it is melted and blended with ingredients. DO NOT BOIL! Remove from stove just before boiling point.
Top with additional sprinkled cinnamon if desired.
Cayenne pepper is the activator and helps our body to receive the benefits of cacao.
I often make several 3-4 serving batches at once and reheat on the stove in morning. I store in a glass jar in fridge.
